The top active stocks today were Singtel, which gained 1.03%, UOB, which gained 0.58%, DBS, which gained 0.60%, OCBC Bank, which gained 1.30% and Wilmar Intl, with a 1.52% advance.

The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained 0.33%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index rose 0.41%.

The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Basic Materials Index, which rose 1.15%. The two biggest stocks of the Index - Midas Holdings and Halcyon Agri Corporation- ended 2.33% higher and remained unchanged respectively.

The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Health Care Index, which slipped 0.05%. Raffles Medical Group shares declined 0.33% and Riverstone Holdings gained 1.09%.

SGX Market Take a Little Jump Before Closing

Waiting for market summary....today STI market was down below 2,800 mark, that was very bad because last few days it is daily going down and down.

But today here was ea sudden change, market jump little but still in negative. Today it closed at 2,805.48 with -8.23 decrements. But our early morning provided Stock list as well as Stock Picks help to booked the full profit from the market.

The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 8.23 points or 0.29% lower to 2805.48, taking the year-to-date performance to -2.68%.

The top active stocks today were Singtel, which gained 0.26%, UOB, which declined 1.61%, DBS, which declined 0.79%, OCBC Bank, which declined 1.17% and Noble, with a 3.89% fall.

The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained 0.03%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index declined 0.98%.

The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Consumer Goods Index, which rose 0.86%. The two biggest stocks of the Index - Wilmar International and Thai Beverage – ended unchanged and 1.65% higher respectively.

The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Basic Materials Index, which slipped 2.71%. Midas Holdings shares declined 4.35% and Halcyon Agri Corporation declined 0.94%.

Its very bad day today, because today SGX Market closed downward from its Opening positions. It closed at 2,856.13 marks with -14.11 decrements

From 2-3 days market going down ward continuously. But still in early morning suggested stocks and Stock Picks booked full profit for those who trade as per guidance and recommendation.

The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 14.11 points or 0.49% lower to 2856.13, taking the year-to-date performance to -0.92%.

The top active stocks today were Singtel, which declined 1.27%, Noble, which declined 6.57%, UOB, which declined 0.11%, DBS, which declined 0.07% and Global Logistic, with a 1.08% fall.

The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index declined 0.52%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index declined 0.39%.

The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Utilities Index, which rose 0.09%. The two biggest stocks of the Index - Keppel Infrastructure Trust and SIIC Environment Holdings – ended 0.99% higher and unchanged respectively.

The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Basic Materials Index, which slipped 3.19%. Midas Holdings shares declined 4.08% and Halcyon Agri Corporation gained 1.87%.

SGX Market Closed With DownWard Positions

The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index declined 0.44%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index declined 0.66%.

The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Basic Materials Index, which rose 1.04%. The two biggest stocks of the Index - Midas Holdings and Halcyon Agri Corporation – ended 2.22% higher and 0.90% lower respectively.

The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Telecommunications Index, which slipped 1.11%. Singtel shares declined 1.24% and StarHub declined 0.29%.
